Subject: [Leica] Replacement for the C86 printer with Ultratone (carbon) inks

Yes, the C8* series were/are blessedly cheap, especially
with periodic discounts from the big box office supply
stores. Very good OBE (out of the box experience) with
just the little driver sliders. I still haven't got as good a
print on Moab Kayenta on my 2200 with QTR as I did
with my lowly C86.

Epson sells refurbished 1280's for ~$300, which is a
pretty great deal for a printer that can print 13x19.

I don't dedicate my 2200 to B&W - it does double color/
BW duty either with BO printing or with QTR. I bought
my 2200 just a few months prior to the 2400's release -
oh, well :-(
