On the post-processing front, I'd wager that ever faster
64 bit dual/quad core CPUs supporting much more than
4GB of memory address space, RAM more than
4GB, ever faster internal bus architectures and multi-
terabyte striped RAID arrays aren't too far off.

I mean, that's all here right now, in fact, but costs will come
down, the technology will be bundled up in nice and neat
packages for end users, the software will be modded to support
the larger address space, and so on.

I worry about the camera end of the equation.
