As with any purchase I sleep on it for a few nights and pay my bills and college fund first! Yesterday was the most comfortable M carry yet (short shoulder strap- vertical carry off right lug) - so it got me to thinking. I am using the Leica plastic strap but I am trying to improve upon it as that hard plastic shoulder piece is annoying and prevents the wrist wrap carry (which I default into when actively shooting). The simplicity of a leather strap looks like it would fit the bill. I don't think I need or want a 'micro foam/ wide pad/no slip/ latest nasa tech' strap. thanks all, Eric On 9/10/06, Ted Grant <tedgrant@shaw.ca> wrote: > > Eric why not just buy a strap with the rubber padded shoulder piece and > the > camera should stay where you put it. > > Many of the "fancy shoulder straps" are expensive when the simple strap > from > Leica with the rubber moulded onto the leather or the adjustable rubber > should work fine. > > I can hang three leica's of various models M & SLR on the left shoulder > and > one on the right they stay where I put them.
