Subject: [Leica] OT - Simple Question

I have a simple question (on the face of it) but have a feeling it may
not get a simple answer.

If I am an accredited photographer at an event, do I have (by default)
a model/property release for images I take at that event of
participants? I am thinking particularly of events such as powerboat
racing, yacht racing etc.
