LUGgers

I have NiMH batteries that I would like to keep charged so that I can
use them anytime. Problem is they seem to get memory effect and one
fine day they conk out! We used to have the problem with NiCads and I
thought that the NIMH should fare better.

I am aware that one should charge and discharge these batteries so
that they last longer. In practice, one usually likes to have the
security of having a few fully charged cells in the bag.

How do you folks get around this problem that I have encountered?

Dan K.
