You are to be commended for braving that sort of weather to get some
pictures taken. I recall going to the French Quarter one cold, wet, and
windy day. I lasted about an hour. As I recall, it was about 40F (or 60
degrees warmer than you were shooting in).

Thanks Jeffery and Don.

Jeffery, that wasn't "snow" in the shot on Steve's page. That was frost. It
was so cold that the condensation from my breathing froze on to my beard
before it got a chance to get away from my face. At that moment it was a
little colder than 20 below. I remember it well. I about got frost-bitten by
trying to work the aluminium focusing knob on my Rolleicord (the shutter
kept working though ... except for the slow speeds).
