I think this FUD, or prejudice, comes from the consumer point&shooters (of 
Canon and others brands), which do often strongly oversaturate the colors. 
But it's not an issue at the pro and prosumer level dslr cameras from any 
brand s far as I have noticed. 

On comparison shots found in the web, it seemed to me that the colortones of 
the DMR looked a bit "warmer" than those of the Canon 20d, but that was just 
my personal impression. It could have to do with the R lenses' coating more 
than with the sensor.
