[Leica] writing on the wall

I shoot just about everyday, usually minus Wednesday, my day off.
But I suffered grievous artistic injury in the late 1970's to the  
1980's when papers I had to come rely on had either become  
discontinued or no longer imported into country. It's always left me  
a little jumpy about access to materials while in the middle of a  
project. A case in point was Oriental's warm tone paper, which was  
discontinued in the middle of a documentary project. Another one was  
Kodak's Elite, also discontinued during yet another documentary  
project. One had to reprinted for continuity, the other has yet to be  
reprinted on a suitable silver-gelatin fiber based media.
I need not ad that all this started happening during yet another  
egregious conspiracy by the art community (a host of buffoons and  
sycophants that has ever had the misfortune to foist their rationale  
on subjects far and wide) to change how we talk about the size of our  
photographic papers, going from 8x10 to 10x8 :-(
