Not to say that it's bad. I would put it a cut above the Bessa R2a, though the two are very similar in layout. It looks like the body was inspired by the Leica M5 (kind of boxy with the rewind knob recessed on the bottom). Like the Bessas and Leicas, the viewfinder is very VERY bright. And the sound of the shutter is closer to Leica M7 than the Bessa. It doesn't have the heft of a Leica M6, and the metal seems less substantial (I had to tap it a lot with my fingernail to ascertain that the top was metal). What it comes down to is, would you rather have an M7 or something that costs 1/2 of the M7 that may last as long as film does (and the latter is disappearing fast!).
