Subject: [Leica] DMR Repair problems

Sad to say, my DMR broke. Well, the little wheel that allows the selection
of ISO, resolution, etc. broke, but I was still able to use the device with
the help of BLACK TAPE!. Anyway, I sent it Leica NJ back in October and
rather than fixing it they decided to replace the entire unit and now I have
wait for a new unit. Allegedly the DMR's are here in the US but I'm not
getting any positive news about when they are going to replace mine, rather
I am getting the corporate run around "its in the order department". I'm
telling you this because after paying over 6 grand for the thing, I would
hope to be treated better than this. And if you have a DMR that needs
repair, you can expect to wait over a month for any satisfaction.
