The choice between B&W and Color is a new phenomenon in that we can
instantly go back and fourth on an image by image basis now. To my mind
color works when it is used as form to deepen the connection between
subject and viewer . Else it IS just a distraction. The only example of
this I saw was image 61853-6958.
BTW, I stayed in San Pablo for a few days many years ago. Too bad my Ex
has all the photographs without much chance for recovery.
