Are you sure it was San Pablo or maybe San Pedro? The villages
around Lake Atitlan are named for the 12 disciples. San Pedro is
directly across the lake from Panajachel and is much larger. San
Pablo is a tiny village further around the lake. There are no hotel
or restaurants there so if that is where you were you would have
stayed with a family. It's a very traditional village and most
people don't even speak Spanish, only Tzutujil. If you were there, I
would love to have been able to see the photos! Can you convince
your Ex to share them?
