Does the M7 have any other significant "major boons"?

i.e. is the flare problem fixed in the M7?  I anticipate the answer is
YES, but can someone confirm?

The major boon for me was the shutter lock. Why didn't they put one of 
those on years ago?! Would have saved me a fortune in mis-fired film!
