Personally I can't stand baggage, to the point that if my lenses don't fit in my pocket they stay home! I guess it's a status thing. Laptops are inherently flimsey and everything is more expensive because it's laptop size. To make matters worse, they are now marrying a lot of desktop and laptop components to save money. Don't be surprised if your next desktop has a lot of laptop components inside. Of course, if you must have one then the best PC choices used to be IBM Dell and HP.
