Great pics, David. I share your frustration. Last week, I had an
interesting although more serious in a personal way. I left Lancaster, PA
on Friday afternoon for Plattsburgh, NY. Got there about 9pm and bedded
down at the Holiday Inn in anticipation of a day of qualifying at the
Canadian GP followed by the race on Sunday. About 7:00am Saturday morning
as I motored up I87 towards the border, I received a phone call from a
sister informing me that my mother was in hospital in Durham NC with
cardiovascular problems. I turned around, headed back to Lancaster awaiting
further news. The next day, they told me a bypass was planned for later in
the week so I headed down to Durham. Lucky for her and all of her family,
angioplasty along with a new eluting stent did the trick and got the blood
flowing and eliminated the pain. So...I didn't get to see a GP either but
my mother is now doing well. And...one of these days, I'll get to meet
Frank, too! We've missed one another several times but I'm always looking
forward to meeting him!
