Hi Eric,
Yes, NPH is still around. It is my favourite 400 iso film. As you say, I 
also have trouble scanning the film but I need to. The lab however is 
crucial. A bad lab makes it look like mud, a good lab makes it look 
brilliant. Fortunate i have a good lab around the corner.
