The new 400 speed films are just as sharp and free from grain while adding one stop of speed or if you wish, the 160 speed films are almost as fast and show much less grain, higher sharpness and a smoother color palatte. My personal suggestions would be Fuji Reala or NPH on the 100 or 400 side of the equation. If a more saturated color palatte is required then try Fuji Press 400 which is available at B&H for $55 on a 20 roll box. Don don.dory@gmail.com
