Any idea what the going rates are for images for this kind of application. It's a matter of 1 one image for the opening page and about a dozen for the rest of the site. Here's a few of the images it's all about. http://gallery.leica-users.org/album150 http://gallery.leica-users.org/album150?page=2 Thanks in advance and greetings from sunny Hannover Douglas > > Hi Steve, > > There are many variables in such a calculation, but to give you an idea, > > I logged into Alamy (of which I am a member), picked an image at random > and did some calculations for licensing an image for use in a travel > advertising campaign in a UK national newspaper with a circulation of > 100,000. > > A couple of examples: > Image size 1/2 page, 10 inserts during 1 month, inside placement: > 1886.18 EUR > Same thing but with 1 insert: 410.04 EUR > Same thing but 1 full page: 2263.41 EUR (10 inserts) / 492.05 EUR (1 > insert) > > The variables that determine the price at Alamy are: > -image size > -image use > -kind of media (e.g. national vs. local paper) > -print run > -placement (cover, inside cover, back cover, inside) > -number of inserts > -duration of campaign > -territory/country > -industry > > If you can give me some assumptions about these parameters, I will be > happy to calculate a price for you.
