There are two kinds of VALOO. One is the full hood that was used when 
the Elmar
was utilized as a enlarging lens. This unit is a little bulkier than 
your average hood.

The other version is merely a ring with a tongue, which catches the 
aperture knob
on the front of the lens. It works in conjunction with a FISON type 
hood. This is the
one you want, but of course they cost an arm and a leg.
