missed most of this thread ,sorry.
if you want to take film with you
put the canisters in transparent bags
be polite and ask for a hand search
it helps if you put some extremely high speed film in the bags
don,t use lead lined bags
whole delay no more then a minute
this procedure has been tried by me many times all over the world without a 
problem
the worst place is Hong Kong but only if you are a pilot.
