Julian mon ami,
this is a whole new ball game.... group tour! :-(

One camera, one lens! That's it!  In a wild and careless moment maybe two 
lenses. On this type of tour with a bunch of folks it's off the bus, 2 
minute stay, back on bus to next 2 minute stop. It's hectic for shooting 
anything but grab and snap stuff.

If you have an R I'd take it and the 21-35 or the 35-70 and that's it. If 
you have both I might take both. MAYBE! However, the chances are I'd go 
21-35 and that's it.

I do beleive at some point you said it was for "happy snaps" of the trip. If 
that's the case it really is KISS !!!      "Keep it simple stupid!" 
Therefore, one camera, one lens rules!
