The M7 has an electronically controlled shutter, which might make it
beyond what the independents can do. The film advance mechanism would
be the same as any M, same for the rangefinder.

This camera has been a dog from day one. Metering problems, eats
batteries, now it is jammed. I wish it were still under warranty, but
unfortunately it is not. My M2 never skips a beat. I was thinking of
sending it to Sherry K, any other alternatives? I'm in the Midwest.
