Expilot?
you.ll never forget the how to,s i,m sure.
Then you have not flown a recent Boeing have you?
I like both but like the classic best because of it,s inherent strength and
autonomy.
Also the lack of range and high speed is nice.
(compared to the airbusses long legs and agonising low speeds)
I totally agree with you on the flight control system philosophy.
You,d like the implementation on the triple.
I just wanted to ask Ted who is a bit of an aviation enthusiast if he has no
favorate plane.
I know i,m not expressing myself right but it,s not important.
I,m convinced that the people at Leica want to do what they do.
A bit like the British firm TVR or other exotic car makers like Caterham.
They won,t ever compete directly with Ferrari but does it matter to them?
My pro photographer friends indeed don,t care a bit .
When new toys arrive they get them basically for free anyway.
The one i,m closest too flipped between the 2 brands quite a few times
lenses and all.
There is allways some little thing to improve on.
They like to play just like the rest of (most of?) us.
For them it,s more important that the customers believe they have the best
stuff.
It,s even in the latest Sinar brochure as an advantage for their view
cameras.
That customers take you more serious then with a smaller box.
Maybe rephrased if you were a manufacturer of lenses you,d know that you
could not demonstrate excellence in the sports arena so why even enter it?
again my apologies for the longish post and bad english
