Unfortunatley insurance isn't much use when you arrive in Managua or Addis
Ababa or wherever and your cameras have been stolen/damaged beyond repair
and you then can't do your job......

The point about making airlines/airports fully responsible for covering
loss/damage to checked baggage would go a long way to helping this imo.

As someone pointed out - if the airlines can't stop things from being
stolen, what chance do they have against terrorists?
