Subject: [Leica] Leica R lens question - 180mm
From: gregj.lorenzo at shaw.ca (GREG LORENZO)

Hi Chris,

I have the current version of the 180/2.8 R lens. It is an amazingly sharp
lens and of course more affordable than the 180/2. Tough call on whether the
current 100/2.8 or the 180/2.8 is the best Leica prime lens made for the R
System.

Another lens to consider is the Leica 70-180/2.8 zoom. This lens at 180mm
rivals the 180/2.8 lens plus you can cover the range down to 70mm. If I
could only purchase one lens in this focal lenght I'd go for the 70-180.

Regards,

Greg
