Has Leica managed to even equal the clarity and brightness of these ? I don't think so. This means that Leica has managed to fulfill your needs, but will this be the case in the future - be it film or digital - I personally doubt it. I aasume that, particularly for your needs, a camera should be tough, reliable, as independent as possible from batteries and must have a viewfinder bright enough and clear enough to allow fine focussing with long lenses. I still don't see these criteria anywhere, neither by Canon, Leica, Fuji, Contax nor Nikon. Do you see a way ahead?
