I've finally dragged myself kicking and screaming into the digital age, at least party, and bought a second-hand Minolta Scan Dual II. I'll be scanning B&W only, and only for web use.

I've just tried a test scan (why is it every time I type "scan" it comes out "scam"?!) with the supplied software, which seems to be easy enough to use.

But, since I'm new to this, does anyone have a better suggestion for software for this scanner?  Vuescan?
