Subject: [Leica] VF Upgrade to my M6TTL

Is it a total finder change or they apply some sort of the coating, if I
recall correctly the mp also has an extra lens in there as part of the new
finder

I would agree with you John, but the other big improvement is in the
contrast of the finder.  It is much improved.  If your eyes are getting old
( 40+) and you like to shoot in dim light, then get the upgrade just for
that reason.

The only reason to upgrade the viewfinder is to get rid of the annoying
secondary image flare/white out. If it is not bothering you, then why bother
updating the finder?
