Subject: [Leica] Heading south

Hey all,

Just got back from a weeklong trip. It was the first time in 15 years I've
traveled without a Leica. Missed my M6 but made do with my Canon G2. Still
can't get over how different it is to shoot film and digital. And while I
don't miss having to develop film, I miss not having film to print.

I posted a shot taken last week in sunny Mexico, on my home page. I took it
the same day last week that my home in Portland was being pelted by ice and
snow. Now I know why birds head south for the winter.

Haven't been active on the LUG for quite a while. Barely enough time to read
and look at all the great shots, much less post. Hopefully 2004 will be less
hectic.
