The Silverfast interface seems to be a mistake to me. I click on buttons
that do nothing, and the program crashes and closes (along with Photoshop)
at the end of most scans. Less stable than alpha editions of some software.

Anyone who declares the user interface experience of SilverFast to be
"superb" is automatically suspect in my mind.

I'm curious about the posting because it seems that many people want their
scanner software to do what Photoshop can also do. I don't think there's any
gain in manipulating the image by the scanner software as opposed to
Photoshop. I'll except Digital ICE.
