I tried to not get into this. If you travel off the beaten path in corn country, Illinois, Iowa, eastern Nebraska, you will find enterprising groups selling corn for 12/$1 by the side of the road. I was just in York, Nebraska and yep, corn for 12/$1. When you are in a place that is nothing but corn for hundreds of miles then the price does go down.
