Hello Jim,
Just as Leica doesn't give a s***, neither does Märklin in Göppingen.
They are the leading German manufacturer of high-end model trains.
A friend of mine is a Märklin dealer and sometimes it takes up to 6
weeks to get certain items that are in the general catalog. He loses
business because customers then buy from somebody else who just
happens to have what the person is looking for or buys from a hobby
shop in Germany.

Märklin's p***poor attitude is well known to us in that hobby.

Regards

Kurt
