When you buy online (as with our site) you pay no tax if you are outside Colorado. If you are in the UK, and buy from us, you have to take care of the VAT on your end. We have nothing to do with that. We just ship the goods and you get to wrestle with customs. I always tell folks if they are going to buy from us, if they are outside the U.S., to find out exactly what customs charges on their end will apply, so that there are no unpleasant surprises. So our price is what you pay, period. Whatever quote I give you, that's what you'll pay to me, for goods and shipping. What you pay to customs is another issue! Any other country does that? cheers > Kit McChesney answered > > Frank-- > > The price on the price list is what you are being asked to pay, and if > you > wish, and if you've got the moxie, you can negotiate what you want to > pay > and see if the dealer will go for your price! > > Kit > > - -----Original Message----- > From: owner-leica-users@mejac.palo-alto.ca.us > [mailto:owner-leica-users@mejac.palo-alto.ca.us]On Behalf Of Frank > Dernie > Sent: Wednesday, April 23, 2003 1:33 AM > To: leica-users@mejac.palo-alto.ca.us > Subject: [Leica] Found a pre-owned MP already > > > Hi Joseph, > are you cheaper for UK buyers, that is to say the price quoted by > Ffordes includes all tax, if one imports a camera tax and import duty > are payable?
