EZ for you to say Marc since you're a combat veteran
but if I was a 21 year old who'd come up with the
novel idea of paying for my college and adorning my
resume with a stint in a peacetime army only to find
myself preping for war in a huge sandbox with the
possibility of being gassed, I'd probably be wishing
for someone to call me back stateside right about now.
My mother certainly would.
Because it comes almost 2 years after Al-Qaeda's 9/11
faith based iniciative, there are also quite a few LTs
and lower non-coms in the desert who joined right
after the attacks with the idea of getting a piece of
Bin Laden but are being sent after Iraq instead. (BTW:
the only place in the region where a woman can
realistically hope to become the chief chemical
weapons scientist.)

This whole Iraq thing really gets me though. I don't
think an American president has ever misused the
military as severely as Bush plans to. The guy's
behaving like a nuclear powered Al Capone but without
the refinements.

See Ya
Javier

PS: I was watching the UN show all day but The station
interrupted Straw's opening remarks to the council.
What did he say that caused all the laughter?
