Guy it's my impression that Xtol gets fine grain and sharp results from
just about any film you can find. Even the troublesome films.
Certain films for me have been troublesome. I've had bad luck with them.
Others have done well them these films.
Often it's that my particular developer at that time did not work well
with a certain film.
Nor did another developer. That and bad luck perhaps.

HP5. Agfapan 400, you name it. FP4. I'm sure all would do will in Xtol
and probably at 1:3.
Its nice to have more films to choose from. More companies.
