Besides I'd used Tmax developer with the vigorous agitation required for best results with Tmax film since the film came on the market. And one only needs to look at the photo reproductions in "This is Our Work. The Legacy of Sir William Osler" medical book to realize the quality of the negatives and resulting prints. Which of course begs the question, "Why did I change to Tri-x and XTOL?" ;-) I had no absolute reason for changing film and developer when I began shooting for the new medical book, it just happened. I'd been playing around with Tri-x and XTOL only because of some posts on the LUG and the next thing I knew I was using Tri-x and XTOL on a regular basis. So I stayed with it,. along with the Neopan 1600 at ASA 1600 in XTOL for 12 -13 minutes. ted Ted Grant Photography Limited www.islandnet.com/~tedgrant - -- To unsubscribe, see http://mejac.palo-alto.ca.us/leica-users/unsub.html
