Good Morning Matthias!

I cannot help you with anybody in Germany.

However, I do know that the only major repair shop in the world,
specializing in the repair of TM Leicas is Kindermann in Toronto, Canada.
They are the previous Canadian distributors for Leica and I understand that
when Leica wanted to rid themselves of their screw mount parts supply,
Kindermann Canada bought their entire inventory!

I have had several Leicas repaired there, with excellent success. (In
fact, my 2x extender, 90mm Summi-R and 180mm Elmarit-R were all recently
damaged in a flood and are all there at this moment!)

Their service manager, Gerry Smith, has over 25 years experience in Leica
repairs and he tells me that most of his technicians are close to that!
He's excellent to work with and devoted to customer satisfaction.

Write him at: Kindermann <kindrman@istar.ca>

If you want further testimonials/information, please write me privately.

Good Luck!
