I took the hood off and looked through the shutter on a long-ish exposure, then compared what I saw with the hood on. Couldn't see any difference, so I'll assume it's just conmetic (for now). I think I'll probably go ahead and find a circular shade, though. I'm going to go ahead and look at negatives I've shot with this to see if everything looks in focus @ infinity. If so, I'll wait until it's convenient and send it off to Sherry to get everything perfect. Thanks a lot.
