Showed my wife what I was talking about, took the lens shade off, and handed the camera to her. Without the lens shade for leverage, she had no problem unscrewing the front of the lens. Had her retighten it to what she felt was finger-tight, and it *almost* lined up with the hood as it should have. Seems like a no-go in this condition though. When I'm out shooting and swapping lenses I tend to grab the camera around the lens shade, and if it'll get screwed up this easily it's likely to happen when I'm shooting and I'll find that light isn't getting to the negative like it should. *sigh* If this isn't an easy fix, can someone estimate cost and turn-around time? - -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v1.0.6 (GNU/Linux) Comment: For info see http://www.gnupg.org iEYEARECAAYFAjySsEcACgkQgFulSVO/UBq9AQCeLLX96Pei6IiMI+qrun9/oodf agoAn3NgqozmEcpfYbCjt0uCPJY7xu/j =irIC - -----END PGP SIGNATURE----- - -- To unsubscribe, see http://mejac.palo-alto.ca.us/leica-users/unsub.html
