However, even though at times I close my eyes in frustration, it's important for those postings no matter whether good, bad or ugly. Otherwise how are they going to learn each one of us at one time or another shoot good, bad & ugly! Goes with the territory of being a photographer. And if any of you don't think pros don't shoot a crap picture on occasion, just stand quietly behind our light table some time when Sandy is verbally working me over due to some dumb ass thing like................"not bending my knees to get at the subjects level or I've held the camera crooked!" She can be unmerciful! But right! And if you think it's a tough world out there when someone on the LUG speaks the truth saying, "you've just posted a piece of crap!" Don't get your underwear in a knot as that's nothing when your critic is talking about material that you are being paid money for! :-( However, if I'm called down on any picture, she has a "why, how to and what makes it better," otherwise I'd tell her to get stuffed! ;-) Believe me, I'd only do it once and it would be the last!! As I'd be doing commercials about clouds for the Big Guy upstairs! ;-) I suppose the biggest annoyance is the multitude of comment postings, " I like that, gee that's nice, I'd burn this or I'd crop here and or I'd shoot more from the right etc etc etc over and over again!" And some of these comments aren't worth tiddly because they don't say why nor how to fix it properly......... ........."like it should never have been posted in the first place!!........ OK BD and the rest in the bunker move over I can feel heat. ;-) ted Ted Grant Photography Limited www.islandnet.com/~tedgrant - -- To unsubscribe, see http://mejac.palo-alto.ca.us/leica-users/unsub.html
