Are they posted somewhere? I must have missed them. - ----- Original Message ----- From: "Eric" <ericm@pobox.com> To: <leica-users@mejac.palo-alto.ca.us> Sent: Saturday, January 19, 2002 6:31 PM Subject: [Leica] Re: Eric's PAW (SNIP) >I've gotten private feedback that > says the LUG isn't the place for my family pictures. This comes from somebody whose opinion I respect a lot. >(END OF SNIP) Everyone has been kind and very helpful - answering my questions and helping me avoid problems buying my camera -- and I thank you all for that. So I certainly don't want to offend anyone with the pictures I post. I am new here and not ready to try PAW -- I need a little time to learn to use my new equipment. I will be using an M3 and a 50mm 'cron. That's it. I don't have access to a lab so will have to rely on the local photo shop for processing (I have also seen a few negative comments about doing that). I have an inexpensive scanner and can do a little cropping on my computer, but that is about it. I live in a rural area on a peninsula in Puget Sound, Washington. My goal is to shoot life around me that will convey a mood, a story, or just life as I see it here. We get a lot of rain in the winter (up to 14 inches in a month), so I may have to postpone shooting from time to time or take some shots out an open window while sitting in the car. ;-) If what I am doing falls within the rules of the group, I'm ready to go. If not, please help me out by telling me where I am going wrong. Thanks, Ted in Olalla - -- To unsubscribe, see http://mejac.palo-alto.ca.us/leica-users/unsub.html
