Truth is, this conversation would have been best set around a large table with a few pitchers of beer! As Sandy has reminded me - the purpose of the PAW project is to get people using their Leicas and to learn from the experience! Sometimes we professionals seem a little harsh, but remember we began as amateurs also. If my comments have been out of line - my apologies! My intentions are always good, sometimes they come across that I'm a mean ass SOB!!! :-) keep shooting, folks and if ya don't like my comments - ignore them :-) ted Ted Grant Photography Limited www.islandnet.com/~tedgrant - ----- Original Message ----- From: "SonC (Sonny Carter)" <sonc@sonc.com> To: <leica-users@mejac.palo-alto.ca.us> Sent: Thursday, December 06, 2001 8:07 AM Subject: [Leica] Jim's Brickbats was: I commend to your attention > Steve and Brian, > > I was at first miffed about Jim Brick's remarks but when he compared > the PAW project to first one, then to another professional > photographer who's working on assignment, I realized that he just > doesn't get it. > > The people who shoot PAW are, (I think) people who also have other > jobs, or commitments, not professionals.
