Which still is a simple no brainer, no offence lad as I don't mean it personally to you. But as I said, I responded to what appeared to be an enormous number of posts about this simple operation. I'd not worry about the lens caps being light proof at anytime as they either get lost or just become a pain in the butt putting them on and off, that you're better off throwing them away or in a drawer and get it over with before you lose them in any event.
