Subject: Re: [Leica] 90mm summicron or elmarit

I just want to echo the praises of the 90 Elmarit M. In January, I traded
my Tele-elmarit (the only Leica lens I've ever owned in which I was
disappointed) for a new Elmarit M and haven't looked back. I love the
lens, the results I get with it. But, I also love the size and weight
which is much more convenient than the Summicron. And, I also love that
the E46 adapter of my Universal Polarizing Filter fits right on the
Elmarit. I don't know if an E55 adapter is available for the 90 cron, but
the polarizer certainly doesn't come with one.

Now... If only my 28 Summicron would get here... preferably before my
annual pyramid climb in Guatemala.
