Hi Chris,

The CPE2 with the lift is an excellent processor. It is not automated, but does
a good job of maintaining the temperature and you get the consistent agitation.
I take Henry's point that if you do not have space to leave it set up and ready
to go, then it is too much trouble. I have mine in the garage and can leave it
set up at all times.

As for XTOL, there were some reports of bad batches of the 1-liter size a couple
of years ago, but I have not personally had any problems with it. I only use the
1-liter size, as my volume is too small to justify mixing 5 liters at a time.
The results with Ilford Delta 100 developed in XTOL 1+3 are excellent.
