Having used both, the Hexar beats an M with a RapidWinder hands down, 
because it's much smaller and lighter and faster; and I find the 
faster shutter speed helpful because I prefer to shoot wide open as 
much as possible. But this is a preference of mine, not necessarily a 
case of "better."
