I would recommend buying 3-cam lenses if you have the choice, this will give you maximum flexibility in terms of buying R cameras in the future. But if you see an unusally good deal on a 2-cam lens, you can always have the third cam added later. I went exactly this route with the 180mm Elmarit. One lens that should be high on your list is the 60mm Macro Elmarit. Besides the obvious (i.e. the macro capability) it also serves as an excellent standard lens.
