After nearly 20 years of nothing but Tri-X, I switched to HP5+, usually developed in ID11 at 1:1. Like Tri-X, I shoot it at anywhere between ISO 200 and 1600 depending on conditions. Of course it's totally subjective, but the HP5+ just seems to have a grain/tone quality missing from the Tri-X. I'm also impressed with the information available at the Ilford website - very helpful.
