That would probably be my choice, too, but I am trying to satisfy my budget, so I am limiting my choices to the non-ASPH group of Leica offerings (near-mint, used). Sharper than sharp, and fast, too! Just a little bulky. I had a 35 Summicron ASPH as well, but I like my Summilux better, so I sold the 'cron. BTW, Erwin told me in Chicago that both 35 ASPH's are the same optical design, but the Summicron just has a smaller maximum aperture. Bill Rosauer
