Hi everyone,

First post on the list, been following it for a few weeks- enjoyable all.

Just got to December 1999 Vanity Fair, the usual top notch photography, & an
interesting story on 4 Vietnam photographers- "Saigon Quartet" killed in
action. All appeared to carry Leica M for at least part of their gear-
Larry Burrows, Keisaburo Shimamoto, Henri Huet & Kent Potter.

Hope this article isn't old news.

Regards,

Gear: Black M4 w/35 & 90 Summicron's // various Nikon SLR // Bronica S2
w/Nikkor Glass // Coolpix 950- on the way // like Jim Marshall's philosophy
of a body for every lens: fix it there & leave it there- haven't achived it
yet myself, though // also like the philosophy "less equipment, more
freedom"- haven't achieved that yet either!!! //
